The past two or three weeks have been an absolutely crazy rush of getting a lot done and failing to keep up with posting photos. Add in some significant health issues and we have the makings of a very busy, fairly quiet Katie. Sorry folks, I'll try to be around more!

Just finished this one up for a commissioner! The costume is styled after the character "Munkustrap" from cats- it is not a copy of any particular production or cast, it is of my own design. The commissioner requested that I include white stripes as well as black. What a fun and interesting challenge!

Red leather collar for Mel. I treated the leather with paint, then worked glitter into it while it was still wet and sealed the whole lot with saddle lac.

Just finished up a new wig! This thing is HUGE! What a fun project!

I made this garb for my dear friend, Edward. This is my first attempt at anything for ren faire (so of course I started with Nobles- ha!)

I used wool and non waled corduroy, lots of trim (~18 yards), pewter buttons, and created the cape patch detail from wool and a tight zig zag stitch.

This was a really fantastic challenge, and I am thrilled with the results!
